Deze nieuwe Delco casting remklauwen zijn de beste die we ooit hebben gezien. GM-gelicentieerde remklauwen hebben het juiste Delco Moraine-logo en -opschrift op de remklauwzijden. De voorste remklauwen hebben casting # 5452270 aan de binnenzijde en # 5452273 aan de buitenzijde. De achterste remklauwen hebben casting # 5452281 aan de binnenzijde en # 5452284 aan de buitenzijde. Zwarte natuurlijke afwerking en ongeverfde bouten maken ons het juiste uiterlijk af.

Let op: DCS raadt het gebruik van Dot 5 remvloeistof af. Dot 5 siliconen remvloeistof maakt de garantie ongeldig (1 jaar garantie) omdat veranderingen in de chemie die betrokken zijn bij de productie van siliconen remvloeistof nadelige effecten kunnen hebben op de rubberen componenten, waaronder zuigerafdichtingen en o-ringen.

Origineel vs. O-ringafdichting:
Zuigerafdichtingen werden in de fabriek geïnstalleerd in remklauwen van 1965-1982, en als u uw Corvette 100% correct wilt houden, zijn ze de juiste keuze. Wees u er echter van bewust dat langdurige inactiviteit en/of versleten remcomponenten de vijand zijn van het afdichtingsontwerp. Als u geniet van het trainen van uw Corvette, of omgekeerd, uw trots en vreugde vaak langere tijd stilstaat, zijn O-ringafdichtingen de betere keuze. O-ringen zijn superieur in ontwerp en bieden de best mogelijke afdichting.

Original-Style vs. O-Ring Seal:
Lip seal piston seals were factory installed in 1965-1982 calipers, and if you are wanting to keep your Corvette 100% correct they are the way to go. However, be aware that prolonged inactivity and/or worn brake components are the enemy of the lip seal design. If you enjoy exercising your Corvette heartily, or, conversely, your pride and joy often sits for extended periods, O-ring seals are the better choice. Superior in design all-around, O-rings offer the best sealing possible.
