De transmissieopties zijn de afgelopen 15 jaar dramatisch veranderd – u zit niet langer “vast” aan uw automatische fabriekstransmissie, nu kunt u uw Shark Corvette upgraden met de nieuwste transmissieopties, waaronder TH350 en TH400, helemaal tot aan de nieuwste elektronische 6L90E Transmissie met 6 versnellingen. Maar hoe behoud je die fabriekslook van binnen en profiteer je van de rijeigenschappen van je nieuwe transmissie? Shiftworks op maat gemaakte automatische transmissie shifters zijn speciaal ontworpen voor uw Corvette uit 1968-1982.

Welke automatische GM-transmissie u ook besluit te gebruiken in uw C3 Corvette – Shiftworks heeft de aangepaste shifter die is ontworpen om goed te functioneren met behoud van de fabriekslook. Het handvat en de pookknop in fabrieksstijl lijken op die van de Corvette’s uit 1968-1982, inclusief de pookknop bovenaan de bal. Inclusief transmissieschakelhendel en fabrieksstijlbehuizing, schakelkabel, transmissiemontagebeugel, bevestigingsmateriaal. De schakelmontage wordt op dezelfde manier gemonteerd als de fabrieksmontage. De neutrale veiligheids-/achteruitrijlichtschakelaar is geïnstalleerd, afgesteld en klaar om op uw Corvette te worden aangesloten (kabelboomconnector is niet inbegrepen).

Bijgewerkt ontwerp voor alle automatische transmissies met 6 versnellingen, inclusief de automatische elektronische transmissies 6L80E en 46L90E.

Let op: Het handmatig selecteren van alle 6 versnellingen van de transmissie is niet mogelijk. Het schakelpatroon van de 6L80E en 6L90E is PRNDM – de “M”-positie geeft aan dat de transmissie naar een alternatieve ingang zoekt (schakelpaddles of stuurwielknop) om de versnellingskeuze te wijzigen. Met de “D”-selectie kan de transmissie in alle versnellingen werken zoals aangegeven door de ECM.

Whichever automatic GM transmission you decide to use in your C3 Corvette – Shiftworks has the custom shifter designed to function properly while maintaining the factory look. Handle and factory style shift knob resemble that used in the 1968-1982 Corvettes, including shift knob button on the top of the ball. Includes transmission shift lever and factory styl housing, shifter control cable, transmission mount bracket, mounting hardware. Shifter assembly mounts just as the factory assembly. Neutral safety / back up light switch is installed, adjusted and ready to wire into your Corvette (harness connector is not included).

Note: Manually selecting all 6-gears of the transmission is not possible. The 6L80E & 6L90E shift pattern is P R N D M – the “M” position signals the transmission to look for an alternate input (paddle shift or steering wheel button) to change gear selection. The”D” selection will allow the transmission to operate through all gears as directed by the ECM
