M-4195 ZR1 siliconen luchtinlaatbuis 90-95

Siliconen luchtinlaatbuis voor de ZR-1 LT5 uit 1990-1995. Ontwikkeld voor een hogere luchtstroomcapaciteit en om niet in te zakken bij hoge temperaturen en volgas, zoals de standaard accordeonvormige luchtinlaatbuis wel kan doen.

LET OP: Het luchtkanaal is opzettelijk iets langer dan het standaard luchtkanaal. We raden aan om het kanaal volledig te installeren met de luchtinlaat correct geplaatst en de klem volledig vastgedraaid om het stevig op zijn plaats te houden. Het kanaal en de klem zullen de koppeling van de airconditioningcompressor niet raken wanneer de klem volledig is vastgedraaid. Installeer vervolgens het filterhuis en plaats de klem in de juiste positie. Als het kanaal te lang lijkt, markeer dan een lijn parallel aan de klem op de gewenste afstand om het bij te snijden. Verwijder het kanaal, snijd het overtollige deel weg met een scherp mes en installeer het opnieuw. We raden het gebruik van roestvrijstalen klemmen aan. De standaard klemmen zijn niet groot of sterk genoeg voor het siliconen kanaal. De merknaam “Jerrys Gaskets” kan desgewenst tijdens de installatie naar de onderkant worden gedraaid.

1990-1995 ZR-1 LT5 silicone air inlet duct. Developed for higher capacity air flow and to not collapse under hot, wide open throttle conditions as the stock accordion air duct is prone to do.

NOTE: The air duct is purposely sized to be slightly longer than the stock air duct. We recommend that it be fully installed with the air horn end correctly located with the clamp fully tightened to hold it securely in position. The duct & clamp will clear the AC Compressor clutch when the clamp is fully tightened. Then install the filter housing and position the clamp to its final position. If the duct appearance is too long, simply mark a line parallel to the clamp at the distance needed for trimming reference. Remove the duct and simply trim the excess away with a sharp blade and re-install. We recommend the use of stainless clamps. The stock clamps are not large enough or strong enough for the silicone duct. “Jerrys Gaskets” branding can be turned to the underside if preferred, during installation.
