Nieuwe reproductie 1963-1969 Corvette bougiekabel onderste ontstekingsscherm – schild wordt aan de onderkant van het motorblok bevestigd en bedekt de bougiekabels als route naar de voorste bougies. Verkocht per paar.

Ontstekingsschilden zijn oorspronkelijk ontworpen om interferentie op met radio uitgeruste Corvette’s te helpen verminderen. Ze werden echter vaak verwijderd tijdens reguliere motorafstellingen, omdat velen het moeilijk vonden om ze opnieuw te installeren en de tijd niet waard waren, vooral bij Corvette’s met de neiging tot vervuilde bougies. De schilden van DCS zijn net als de originelen, waardoor je deze vaak weggegooide fabriekscomponenten kunt vervangen.

New reproduction 1963-1969 Corvette spark plug wire lower ignition shield – shield attaches to the underside of the engine block and covers the spark plug wires as the route to the front plugs. Sold in pairs.

Ignition shields were originally designed to help reduce interference on radio equipped Corvettes. However, they were often removed during regular engine tune-ups as many found them difficult to reinstall and not worth their time, especially on Corvettes with the tendency to foul plugs. DCS shields are just like the originals, allowing you to replace these often tossed factory components.
