De zijsteunen van de fabriek’s C5 en C6 Corvette-stoelen hebben geen steun eronder. Terwijl u in/uit de stoel klimt, scheurt het schuim aan de buitenkant van de stoel op de plaats waar het in contact komt met het stalen stoelframe en wordt het snel plat. Bovendien snijden de stalen steundraden in het middengedeelte in het schuim, waardoor de zitting doorzakt en rond de heupen knelt. Het leer ziet er flodderig uit en er verschijnen al snel diepe rimpels.

Deze stoelreparatie set corrigeert het ontwerpfoutje van de stoel waarbij er geen ondersteuning is onder de zijwangen en de midden draden. De kits bevatten de benodigde materialen die in de juiste maat en vorm zijn gesneden, plus gedetailleerde, stapsgewijze instructies met foto’s. 

In de set zit het materiaal voor 1 stoel:

• Industrieel schuim met hoge dichtheid, zoals hieronder aangegeven.
• Sterk, slijtvast ballistisch nylonweefsel om het gesneden schuim te repareren.
• .25 inch jute pad om de zitting steviger te maken
• Ritssluitingen ter vervanging van de metalen ringen.
• Gedetailleerde stapsgewijze instructies met foto’s
• Er is GEEN speciaal gereedschap nodig.

Let op: Spuitlijm is NIET inbegrepen. Wij adviseren het gebruik van 3M Super #77 of #90 of gelijkwaardig.

Factory C5 & C6 Corvette seats side bolsters do not have support under them. As you climb in/out of the seat, the outside bolster seat foam tears where it contacts the steel seat frame and quickly goes flat. In addition, the steel support wires in the center area cut into the foam and cause the seat to sag and pinch around the hip area. The leather looks baggy and deep wrinkles soon appear.

These seat repair kit corrects the seat design defect where there is no support under the side bolsters and the center wires. Kits includes the necessary materials cut to the right size and shape plus detailed, step-by-step instructions with photos. 

Included in the kit is the material for 1 seat:

• High density industrial-grade foam as highlighted below.
• Tough, wear resistant Ballistic nylon fabric to repair the cut foam.
• .25 inch jute pad to make the seat firmer
• Zip ties to replace the metal hog rings.
• Detail step-by-step instructions with photos
• NO special tools are required.

Note: Spray adehsive is NOT included. We recommend using 3M Super #77 or #90 or equivalent.
