DB-1247 Hawk HPS 5.0 Remblokken Voor 14-19

Heighten your C7 Corvette driving experience with Hawk Performance premium brake pads! Hawk Performance is a leading supplier of high-performance friction products for the motorsports and automotive aftermarket. Engineered to allow enthusiasts to control, command and conquer the street or track depending on the compound selection. More motorsports championships have been won by Hawk Performance than any other friction manufacture.

Correct fitment for front brakes on 2014-2019 base Corvettes with JL9 brakes. Can also be used on Z51 J55 models, however these pads do not have the weighted damper found on OE style Z51 J55 brake pads. See DCS # DB-1007 for Hawk 5.0 Z51 (JL9) brake pads with weighted damper system.

High Performance Street 5.0 is one step closer to giving you the greatest stopping power and pedal feel for your Corvette without compromising your ABS system. Too much brake torque and your ABS goes into ICE mode, too little and there is no improvement to the product. Pedal feedback, Noise, Brake Torque and Dust control was the goal with High Performance Street 5.0. Not a replacement for Hawk’s HPS product, but a change that allows the driver to challenge themselves and their Corvette with a new and unique driving feel.

The new High Performance Street 5.0 Pads are a Ferro-Carbon compound brake pad that provides advanced braking characteristics to enhance the driving experience. This new compound combines the safety and quality of aerospace design partnered with the braking technology of motorsports, the results are shorter stopping distances, improved performance under heavy braking conditions and street car friendly characteristics.

As standard brake pads wear, brake dust is released as the friction material wears in everyday braking. Hawk High Performance Street 5.0 brake pads are formulated to produce and release extremely low levels of dust in normal street driving conditions while also being very quiet.

All Hawk Performance High Performance Street brake pads are covered by a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring products to be free of defects from manufacturers workmanship and materials. Hawk Performance brake pads are American made and 100% asbestos free.

Note: Hawk Performance burnishes its High Performance Street brake pads as a final step in the factory, but all brake pads have to be bedded-in with the rotors (new or used) that they will be used against. Properly bedding-in new brake pads results in a transfer film being generated at the pad and rotor interface to maximize brake performance.
