492-34 Brandstoftank overloop slang ondersteuning veer 63-74

Reproductie 1963-1974 Corvette brandstoftank overloopslang steunveer. Past in de slang die is aangesloten op de nippel van de tankhals die de brandstofoverloop naar de onderkant van de Corvette afvoert. Roestvrije veer zorgt ervoor dat de slang niet knikt.

Installatietip: gebruik een 18-inch lange, 1/4-inch aanvoer verlenging om de veer gemakkelijk in de slang naar de juiste plek te duwen. Schuif de veer over de verlenging en spuit vervolgens met pure siliconen. Het is gemakkelijk om de veer helemaal in de slang te duwen met behulp van het verlengstuk als piloot. Zodra de veer zich in het uiteinde van de slang bevindt, trekt u het verlengstuk naar buiten, draait u het om en gebruikt u het grote uiteinde om de veer naar de juiste plek in de slang te duwen, die zich bevindt waar de slang buigt om te bevestigen aan de bovenste, achterste hoek van de brandstoftank.

Reproduction 1963-1974 Corvette gas tank overflow hose support spring. Fits inside hose connecting to gas tank neck boot nipple which drains fuel overflow to underside of Corvette. Stainless spring keeps hose from kinking.

Installation Tip: Use an 18-inch long, 1/4-in drive extension to easy to get that push the spring into the hose to the correct spot. Slip the spring over the extension, then spray with pure silicone. It will be easy to push the spring all the way into the hose using the extension as a pilot. Once the spring is inside the end of the hose, pull the extension out, turn it around and use its large end to push the spring to the correct spot in the hose which is located where the hose curves to confirm to the top, rear corner of the fuel tank.
