Radiateursteun-luchtdammen worden aan de bovenkant van de radiateurkernsteun gemonteerd en voorkomen oververhitting door afdichting tussen de kap en de steun. Alle afdichtingen zijn gestanst uit de juiste materialen.

1971 454 Corvette-radiateursteun aan luchtdam in motorkap omvat een stuk dat de bovenkant van de radiateursteun bedekt en vereist (2) insteekbevestigingen om de installatie te voltooien.

1969-1982 Corvette-luchtdammen worden als origineel bevestigd met zelfklevende en/of insteekbevestigingen. 3M’s algemene spuit- of tochtstriplijm kan worden gebruikt om de afdichtingen te installeren en gaten voor insteekbevestigingen kunnen eenvoudig door het schuim worden gestoken met een pons- of prikgereedschap.

Radiator support air dams mount to the top of the radiator core support and prevent overheating by sealing between the hood and support. All seals are die cut from correct materials.

1971 454 Corvette radiator support to hood air dam includes 1-piece covering the top of the radiator support and requires (2) push-in fasteners to complete installation.

1969-1982 Corvette air dams attach with adhesive and/or push-in fasteners as original. 3M’s general spray or weatherstrip adhesive can be used to install the seals and holes for push-in fasteners can easily be inserted through the foam with a punch or prick tool.
