431-11A Soft-Top Tack Strip – Origineel Karton Materiaal 68-75

Originele stijl 1968-1975 Corvette convertible tack strip sets zijn gemaakt van hetzelfde type vezelplaat dat oorspronkelijk werd gebruikt op het cabriokapframe van uw C3 Corvette. Elk stuk wordt op de uiteindelijke lengte gesneden en de gaten, sleuven en inkepingen zijn correct geplaatst voor directe vervanging. Kleefstrips werden gebruikt om de nietjes te verankeren waarmee het canvas aan het frame was bevestigd.

De originele Corvette soft-top center boog uit 1968-1975 bevat een soortgelijk stuk materiaal dat in de boeg is gestikt, waardoor de hoogte van de kleefstrip wordt verhoogd. Verwijder dit stuk materiaal niet, want het zit niet in de nieuwe zadelstrip set.

Original style 1968-1975 Corvette convertible tack strip sets are made of the same type fiber board that was originally used on your C3 Corvette’s convertible top frame. Each piece is cut to the final length and the holes, slots, and notches are correctly located for direct replacement. Tack strips were used to anchor the staples holding the canvas to the frame.

The original 1968-1975 Corvette convertible top center bow includes a similar piece of material that is stitched into the bow, raising the height of the tack strip. Please do not remove this piece of material as it is not included in the new tack strip kit.
